Mother Nature: Framed is a year-long series that is primarily about noticing; seasonal markers, local shifts in weather, what nature is doing right on our doorstep. It also explores the unseen work of mothers, the invisible load that perhaps only comes to light on high days and holidays. Through this work I am aiming to draw together threads from life and nature, delving into folk stories and traditions, as well as more modern markers from mother’s lives.
